Rc Helicopters used to shoot Hollywood movies?

As you are probably well aware of by now, rc helicopters have been used to shoot video and take snap shots from the air and from various locations. Did you also know that Hollywood has been using rc helicopters to shoot video on set? Not just by using them as a prop to be destroyed, but as really useful equipment to take the action shots not capable of being taken by the life scale helicopters. These radio controlled machines are much more lighter and way more agile than their life scale counterparts, and should there be a potential crash, millions of dollars and human lives are not wasted just to capture a certain scene. I spoke to one of the guys who were in a local club and he had told me that one of the members had shot video for “Pirates of the Caribbean” when it was in production. So, as you can see, the radio controlled helicopter is more than just a “toy”.
